Independence Now! —the story begins with the First Continental Congress and the Suffolk Resolves, a powder keg that ignited military action and set the scene for “the shot heard round the world” at Lexington and Concord. The Student Workbook is read as a chapter book that brings to life the people and events that led – step by step – to the Declaration of Independence. Questions and projects are included at the end of each chapter lesson.

Included in the Teacher’s Guide and the Student Workbook is a script for Independence Now! — the play — together with a link to listen to the professionally produced audio drama.
